The garage door tech who came to our home was Tyler R. Tyler demonstrated professionalism, knowledge of his job & exceptional customer service. He answered my questions, acknowledged my concerns & fixed the problem by repairing our garage door, which had a broken spring. Tyler’s visit to our home lasted maybe 45 minutes, if that. I could tell he took great pride in his work! I am a satisfied customer!

One of my home garages had malfunctioned, and my home warranty company arranged for RJ Garage Repair out of Raleigh to fix it. Company Technician, JJ Medlin arrived on time as promised and repaired the system. He promptly diagnosed the issue by making a couple of adjustments, that fixed the problem. The whole repair took only 10 minutes, and then he was finished. He was polite, courteous and very professional in his dealings with me. The garage door issue has been resolved, and I am very pleased. Thank you JJ. .

I bought a home last August and have had RJ Garage Door Service out three times in just under a year to handle different issues that came up. The first visit was flawless. The replacement of a light sensor. The second visit was to repair an emergency release cable and install a new lock. That job was, unfortunately, botched shockingly bad. To their credit, however, after seeing the pics I sent, they came out a third time and fixed everything that had gone wrong. People have bad days, but it's the good companies that own up to their mistakes and make it right at no additional charge. And RJ did that, so five stars on that alone. Nicole in the office is always a pleasure to talk to, and has always been very helpful. I will echo some sentiments in other reviews about the cost. They are expensive. So much so that I may have to consider other options in the future.

Tyler had the part on his truck, replaced it quickly, informed us of the condition of our 20 year old doors and was a pleasant young man to have doing the job. I called in the morning and it was completed before our lunch appointment. Can't say much about the price - but what we needed was quick and competent work.

I’d give 6 stars if I could. Tyler was incredible! I called this morning to have our weatherstripping inspected after a pest control inspector suggested we get it replaced. I was pleasantly surprised that RJ’s voluntarily offered a same day visit. Tyler, our technician, gave our garage a thorough look over and told us our weatherstripping was in good shape. He was honest, professional and very personable. He didn’t try to sell us something we didn’t need even though he easily could have. He suggested some simple DIY options for me to do to fortify our garage. You don’t get many companies who are this honest anymore. Because this, RJ’s will get all of our future business! Thanks Tyler, you really showed us what being a good person looks like.

Very fast and helpful. Was able to get a same day appointment and they quickly identified and solved the problem I was having locking my garage door. Would totally recommend!

The service was professional and Tyler was both thorough and friendly. I called the office around 8am for a broken garage door (spring), and the appointment schedule was honored for same day service about four hours later. The spring was replaced, and final adjustments were made at the motor to insure proper door closure with the cables. The repair was more expensive than what I had experienced in years past for the same issue, but I have no way of knowing how their competitors would have priced the work.

They were effective, fast, called 10 minutes out and arrived during the window when they said they would.

Today was my first experience with RJ Garage Door. I had tried two prior services over the past year, but I was less than impressed with both. RJ Garage Door Service will be “my garage door guy” going forward. Tyler was friendly and professional and seemed just a good, honest guy all around. He quickly fixed my door at a fair price. I needed a new garage door spring installed super fast. A friend of mine recommended RJ. Max came to my home and replaced my garage door spring in less than an hour! Max was super curious and professional. The work was top notch. I don’t know what more you could ask for if you need garage door work done. I can’t recommend RJ enough!

Quick and efficient service.

Got a quote from another place where they said we needed completely new springs and a new motor. Ended up giving RJ a call after getting something in the mail from them and it was the right move. They just tensioned the spring and replaced the drive coupler for us (already had the part as I saw it was broken). Also swapped out the rollers since the garage was very clunky. Now it's smooth as ever and was less than half the cost of the other estimate. Thanks Justin and JJ for the speedy repair. Was able to do it same day as coming out to inspect it. No more manually closing the door, can't recommend them enough!

My technician Justin came out and replaced my springs in under an hour. He was very professional and got my old door working perfectly.

Started with a different garage door company. They walked in and in about 5 minutes said it would cost over $2000. Too close to the holidays for that. Justin from RJ Garage Door Service spent the same 5 minutes of time, and REPAIRED our door. It's working great now. Could have saved time and money by calling these guys (especially if Justin is out tech!).
